Google launches new search status panel

Good news for SEO professionals! We have been waiting for this update for a long time and Google has finally listened to us: the Google Search Status Dashboard has been launched .

This dashboard will allow you to verify information about the systems that power the Google search engine and monitor issues affecting sites and users.

This report will provide us with official data from Google when there are issues or interruptions in crawling, indexing, or service with the search service.

How will the search status panel work?

The dashboard monitors the status of Google’s search systems and analyzes several different types of indicators. We can view general problems Cabo Verde Email List 235 Contact Leads that have occurred in the last 7 days, with some details and the current status of the incident that may be affecting the search engine.

The Google team and their engineers will update the dashboard, and these types of issues will tell us that something may be affecting a large number of sites, users, or both.

Updates will be shared periodically and may include general information about the issue , how much the issue may affect your site, the progress of fixes, what the root causes of the incidents were, and their solutions.

How to use the information from this panel for your SEO?

From the panel we will know what measures we can take to correct incidents or even take special care with problems that may affect the SEO of our website and the user experience.

When reporting, for example, when we have a large drop in traffic, and during that period there was a problem with the search engine and Google officially reported it, it is possible to understand the reason for that drop in traffic.

We know that in SEO we have a lot of information that is sometimes very difficult to explain. Probably from 2023, with the Status Panel, we will have more security to carry out even more data-driven work ,

making reports and improvement actions more objective.

It is also worth noting that Google has made it clear that when we have a problem presented on the dashboard, while engineers are trying to fix it, they will at the same time work on reducing the data that this problem can generate for sites and users. This can also give more security for our SEO work.

However, it is important to note that SEO teams do not justify all issues found on your website due to the problems highlighted in the Google dashboard.

We must continue to do good work, monitor the data, always analyze and know how to work with several possible scenarios before reaching a conclusion.

Let’s follow this panel and hope that it really helps us in our SEO work! What do you think about this update?
